When I was in High School, I met one of my soul mates, A Finnish Foreign Exchange Student who lived in a house down the street my senior year. We immediately hit it off and she started calling me "Her American Sister" A name, I treasure to this day. She visited a few years ago and it was like the time in between was just a moment. She has a blog-Visit her. She's funny. She's deep (much deeper than what you find on this blog!) and she's writing in English, her second (or 3rd or 4th) language. Amazing because she is so darn articulate. She's doing wonderful things with her life. As soon as I get the blog list up and running she'll be on it. In the mean time, Take a visit!

Thank you for sharing this -- I took some time and read some of her posts and even watched one of her video clips, which was so wonderful to see -- it took me right back to the "good ol' days" of hanging together, all of the great talks, laughs, life lessons! It's been ages since we've seen our dear friend, and I miss her! This brought her closer -- thanks!
