Happy Mother's Day

My Present:
4 yards of soil that my husband has been moving into my new garden for the past 2 days! (I also got a lovely framed picture of my girl and I
and a gift certificate to a local garden shop.) My husband also took my girl to see her grandparents and give me some uninterrupted time in the garden. We'll be grilling later. Pretty frugal, pretty fun and relaxing.

I will be having a mother's tea on Wed for the ladies in my life-done frugally and beautifully of course!!!

Happy mother's day! Sorry I never posted on your blog before. Don't get me wrong I do read it but, It's just so boring! Well anyway this is cool safely picking on you from 2000 miles away! Ha Ha Just kidding about being boring!

I knew I was missing out on something with you not around. Oh yeah-It's your childish sense of humor? Surely your musings on Greg Anderson are more interesting than my dirt pile.

Thanks Stella! It was taken before my friend's wedding. (hence my fancy hair!)

Love the picture of you and your girlie -- beautiful!

Also admiring your pile of dirt -- I need to get some this year if I am going to tackle the front yard... We'll have to see though -- that might be a little ambitious with the other gardening projects I want / need to do!

Whoa nelly! I think one gardening project at a time is a good plan-Trust me on this. My old house was full of gardening projects in different states of completeness. I'm being much more deliberate here.
